Colusa Court General Unit Ratify 3 year Contract

UPEC is happy to announce that the Colusa Court General Unit employees ratified a three year contract with no concessions. Colusa Superior Court was represented in the negotiations by a negotiator from the AOC. The three year contract includes the court covering the entire PERS medical increase for 2011 and the Court and employees will split any increase for 2012 and 2013. The bilingual monthly stipend was increased from $75.00 to $100 and the floating holidays were increased to a total of four per year. There is also a procedure for long term vacation approval. After the Court receives the allocation from the AOC for fiscal year 2012-1213 then we will meet and confer at that time regarding wages. The vote that ratified the contract was almost unanimous.
