LiUNA Donates $25,000 to Haiti Quake Victims

Washington DC - LIUNA will donate $25,000 to the relief effort in Haiti, where a massive earthquake devastated the capital and killed tens of thousands of people. In addition, LIUNA Local 1652 - whose membership includes many men and women of Haitian origin who still have family members on the island - has responded by sponsoring a collection of goods and funds that will be donated to victims and by talking to local radio stations appealing for community help.
