LIUNA Not Ready to Endorse Candidate

Washington DC - The LIUNA General Executive Board has decided not to make an endorsement at this time in the 2008 presidential primaries. LIUNA provided the major Democratic Candidates an opportunity to address our Leadership Conference in Chicago and took the historic step of webcasting their speeches which, to date, have been viewed online by over 10,000 members.
The Union will continue to engage the members and maintain a dialogue with all of the candidates about the issues that are important to us.
