A summary document describing the proposed MOU changes that implement an increase in vacation accrual and corresponding salary decrease for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 has been posted in our downloads section.  Please log in and visit “Downloads” to view the proposal.

A meeting has been called for Wednesday June 24, 2009 at noon in the Department 8 Courtroom.  We will circulate additional copies of the summary there for discussion and vote.

These changes are in connection with an effort to mitigate budget shortfalls at Shasta Courts and potential legislated furlough days.  While they do not guarantee total budget security and cannot therefore guarantee that no layoffs could occur if the budget situation worsens - these represent our best efforts at addressing the budget shortfall problem as we currently understand it to be.
