Superior Court of Shasta County General Unit and Supervisory Unit Contracts

Superior Court of Shasta County General Unit and Supervisory Unit ratify contracts. There were no concessions in the newly ratified contracts for both the General Unit and Supervisory Unit and both contracts included onetime payments for employees. Both contracts will expire on August 31, 2011.
There is currently a disagreement between the Union and the Court in interpreting the General Unit’s contract. It is the Union’s position that the Court should have begun paying the increased portion of the medical insurance premium the pay period following ratification. However, this did not occur. After correspondence regarding this issue is received then a grievance, if necessary, will be filed. Any updates will be posted to the Union’s website.
