UPEC Scholarship Golf Tournament

REDDING - The First Annual United Public Employees of California, Local 792 Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament was a great success.  We had 32 players participate.  Each team of 4 players was named after famous Union Labor Leaders.  Each team was required to know the significance of the name of their famous Union Leader or they paid a donation to the scholarship fund.  Congratulations to players Bob Purcell and Rocco Davis from LiUNA for knowing all the team names.

The event was held at Gold Hills Golf Course in Redding, California.  Special thanks to their staff for supplying the players with cold towels while playing on the 100+ degree day.  Thank you and congratulations to all the players.
