UPEC to File Suit on City of Susanville

SUSANVILLE - The City of Susanville City Council voted to approve and unilaterally implement a two-tier retirement system for the Susanville Police Officers Association (SPOA) in June 2009. Unfortunately, despite the Union telling City officials they can’t unilaterally adopt the new plan without bargaining! UPEC Business Manager Chris Darker directed it’s attorney today to proceed with formal legal action against the City in Superior Court.
